St Willy’s Jam 2007

Labor Day:  September 3, 12:00-6:00pm

Dear Green Bay area business:

This letter is to cordially invite you to become a part of an exciting Labor Day Event.  Called St Willys Jam 2007, it will take place on the St Willebrord Parish grounds from 12:00 noon until 6:00pm on September 3.

The purpose of the event is four-fold:

At St Willy’s Jam 2007 four or five different youth bands will perform.  Between the band performances will be individual performers and dance company exhibitions.

Also spread throughout our grounds will be a variety of carefully chosen booths or tables with information for the young people.  The businesses involved will be those that have a product or service that the young people and their families either use or would be interested in.

St Willebrord will provide both Mexican and American food and non-alcoholic beverages at reasonable cost.

You will be contacted by one of the members of our planning committee, who are all active St Willebrord parishioners.  He or she will have more details and will be able to answer your questions.  We are hoping that you will consider being a part of our event.

We have several options for you to consider.

If you are interested in being an active part of St Willy’s Jam with an eight foot space, the cost is $100.  You would be able to sell your non-food merchandise directly, in a space that you set up with your own tables and materials.

We also have several area sponsor opportunities:

A large sign advertising your business next to the stage for $500

A large sign advertising your business next to the food booth for $300

A large sign advertising your business next to the bakery booth for $300

A large sign advertising your business next to the raffle booth or silent auction booth for $300

(Sponsors will have the option of providing the signs with their logo, or we can create the sign here – sizes still to be determined)

If you prefer to be involved in another way, we are gratefully accepting donations of items suitable for our item raffle or silent auction.

We hope that you will consider:

·         Having a space here, sponsoring a booth, or making an donation for the raffle or auction

·         Publicizing this event by hanging a publicity poster at your place of business when they are printed in early August

·         Personally stopping in periodically throughout the day to interact with our young people and their families in an informal way

For your records, St Willebrord Parish is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation registered in the state of Wisconsin.  So any contributions made to us are fully tax deductible.  Specific tax forms with our federal ID number are available upon request directly from me.

If you would like to discuss the event with either Fr Ken DeGroot, the pastor of St Willebrord, or with me, feel free to call me at the parish office.  I do believe this it will be a fun day for our teens from throughout the area, and we are very excited about the opportunity to provide a fun and festive event for them.

Sincerely,

Rev Ken DeGroot, O Praem

Pastor
