Alma Vazquez
Alma began
working for us full time in 2000. Before that she spent some time with
us on a part time basis. Alma takes care of the main office. This
involves answering the phone and the door. She is proficient in doing
much work on the computer as well. She composes the Spanish bulletin
each week. She keeps all our records up to date as well as assisting
many Spanish speaking families with difficulties that come to the door.
She is an excellent front person for all who come calling. Alma also is
the coordinator of the religious education program in Spanish. She
organizes the program, works with the students, parents and teachers.
Alma is from Guadalajara
in Mexico. She is married to Carlos who has worked in Packerland Packing for many years. Carlos had been
working here when he returned to Mexico to marry Alma about five years
ago. He then brought her here as he continued his work at Packerland. They
are the proud parents of Carolina. Alma
has an education in accounting in Mexico and she also worked in a
pharmacy before coming to this country. We are very fortunate to have
Alma working with us in the many areas in which she is involved.

Alma ha estado trabajando con nosotros de tiempo completo desde 2000. Antes ella trabajó medio tiempo. Ella hace trabajos de oficina. Contesta el teléfono y la puerta. Ella es eficiente haciendo muchos trabajos en la computadora.
Alma hace el boletín cada semana. Ella mantiene todos nuestros libros oficiales al corriente. Asiste a familias hispanas con problemas o dificultades que llegan a nuestras puertas. Ella es una excelente persona para hablar con las personas y con las que hacen las
llamadas por teléfono. Alma también es coordinadora del programa de educación religiosa en Español. Ella organiza el programa, trabaja con los estudiantes, padres de familia
y maestros.
Alma
es originaria de
Guadalajara, Jalisco en México. Ella está casada con Carlos quien ha trabajado en Packerland Packing por muchos años. Carlos estaba trabajando ahí cuando se fué a México para casarse con Alma. El entonces
la trajo aquí para continuar con su trabajo en Packerland. Alma tiene una educación en contabilidad en México y ella también trabajó en una farmacia con sus padres antes de venir a este país. Nosotros
somos muy afortunados de tener a Alma trabajando con nosotros en muchas areas en las cuales ella se desenvuelve.
