At this level, the focus is on relating the Christian message to our lives and how we live that out each day. Students participate in some parish celebrations: Reconciliation Services, Stations of the Cross, etc.

The format used at this level is geared to respond to the needs of adolescents, including:

· self-definition

· competence and achievement

· physical activity

· positive interactions with peers and adults

· meaningful participation

· creative expression

· personal religious experience

The courses are anchored in the Scripture and core beliefs of our faith.

Classroom Meeting time: Wednesdays 5:45pm to 7:30pm

23 – First Reconciliation retreat in parish hall – from 9-12

February 3

17 (please attend Ash Wednesday Mass as a family)

24 (Lenten family night)

March 3 – older youth involved with Stations of the Cross

31 – All parents and older youth attend parish penance service

April 7

May 2 – First Communion at the 9:00 Mass
