Forms and Records New, official, certified copies of your Baptism and Confirmation records must be requested from the parish where these sacraments were received. Two witnesses per person are asked to come to the rectory to testify to your freedom to marry.  If they are not able to come during office hours (8am to 4:30pm), they are asked to call ahead. If yours is an inter-traditional marriage (one partner is not a Catholic), a dispensation must be obtained.  Request for such a dispensation takes place at least one month before the marriage.  A condition for such dispensation is that the Catholic partner make a sincere promise to have children baptized and raised in the Catholic Church.  The other partner must be aware of such a promise. Second Marriage If one or both partners are entering a second marriage, additional information and forms will be needed.  This will be discussed at the time of your interview. The marriage licence should be obtained at least a week before the wedding and brought the evening of the rehearsal.

La licencia matrimonial debe ser entre 7 y 30 días menos de una semana cuesta más. En menos de una semana antes de la boda y llevarla la tarde del ensayo.
