Purpose of the web site:

- Provide a Library to Document key information.
- Provide Operational Support to Parish Staff
- Communicate with the Parish, Community and the World

OUR LIBRARY

- The library of information does several things at the same time.
It takes information that is presented at the Parish level and makes it available to Parish members for extended periods of time.

- It helps bring new parish members into the St Willebrord Family by helping explain some of the past.

- It provides information to a wider audience than the Parish members.  The Community, the Diocese and the World.

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT

- Getting time with a staff member at St Willebrord can sometimes be difficult.  There are many Mass' each weekend, sometimes 1 or 2 weddings.  Religous Education, RCIA, etc. etc. etc.  Frequently asked questions are being place onto the internet site in BOTH languages.  Spanish and English.

- As Parish membership grows, its not possible to grow the staff in a similar manner.  The Web Site allows the staff to actually increase its service level to Parish members while its increasing membership AND keeping staffing levels under control.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGY

- St Willebrords is  providing spiritual guidance for many many people in Green Bay.  The work done at the Parish is outstanding and should be shared on a wider level so that ALL can benefit from this Ministry.

- St Willebrords supports a large Spanish population in Green Bay Wisconsin.  We want to make sure that as much of the information that is shared as possible is shared in both languages.

- There are many many traditions that the Hispanic population brings with them to the Green Bay community.  The Web Site allows us to document and share these traditions with the rest of the Community, the Diocese and beyond.

Key Suggestions:
* Grow the website content as information becomes available.  Don't try to produce all of the information up front.
* Link programs that are already happening within the Parish to the Web Site.  There are many many good programs that are already happening that could be shared on a wider basis without creating anything new.
* Utilize the Web where appropriate within the Education programs.
